日本語でよく「馬が合う」と言うが、英語では何て言うのだろうか？
「馬が合う」は通常、英語で「hit it off」を使う。口語表現でよく出てくるので、頭に入れておくと便利だ。

定義によると、日本語と英語の「一目惚れ」(“love at first sight“) にも近いような気もするが、”love” ではなく “like” なので、そこは違う点だ。
